Inspiring Marriages : A Friend Closer Than a Brother

Proverbs 18:22 

18:21-23&version=AMP" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">AMP  He who finds a [true and faithful] wife finds a good thing And obtains favor and approval from the Lord. 

NLT The man who finds a wife finds a treasure, and he receives favor from the Lord.

 CEV  A man's greatest treasure is his wife— she is a gift from the Lord.

TPT When a man finds a wife, he has found a treasure! For she is the gift of God to bring him joy and pleasure

Good: beautiful, best, bountiful, pleasant, precious, prosperity, wealth, favor

AMC The man of too many friends [chosen indiscriminately] will be broken in pieces and come to ruin, But there is a [true, loving] friend who [is reliable and] sticks closer than a brother.

Friend: lover, love, beloved (to have affection for (sexually or otherwise)

 Sticks closer: cleave, join, adhere
