Courtship …

Courtship — it is a period where a man and a woman dedicate themselves to learn more about each other and to seek God together to determine if it is God’s will for them to get married.

The honest person will live [Those who walk in innocence walk] in safety, but ·the dishonest [those who twist their path] will be caught [found out]. Proverbs 10:9 (EXB)

So discard every form of dishonesty and lying so that you will be known as one who always speaks the truth, for we all belong to one another. Ephesians 4:25 (TPT)

Red Flags:

Integrity:

1. Keeps pushing the boundaries (especially physically)

2. Still wants to live as if unattached. – doesn’t consider your viewpoint when making decisions.

3. Acts differently based on the situation.

4. Sees other people secretly.

Christ has liberated us to be free. Stand firm then and don’t submit again to a yoke of slavery. Galatians 5:1 (HCSB)

Codependency:

5. Always venting (dumping) on you or always needing more from you

Codependency: a psychological condition or a relationship in which a person manifesting low self-esteem and a strong desire for approval has an unhealthy attachment to another often controlling or manipulative person (such as a person with an addiction to alcohol or drugs).
