God wants to transform your marriage to reflect the relationship of Christ and the Church.
“The marriage relationship is doubtless a great mystery, but I am speaking of something deeper still—the marriage of Christ and his Church” Ephesians 5:32 Phillips
Marriage:
- A man and a woman
- Spiritually, Emotionally, Intellectually and Physically intimate
- Working together in a shared life to help each other realize their visions and dreams
- Walking with God to fulfill their callings and goals
“And the man and his wife were both naked and were not ashamed. “ Genesis 2:25 NASB1995
“And the man and his wife were both naked and were not embarrassed or ashamed in each other’s presence.” Genesis 2:25 AMPC

Four Main Areas of Intimacy
- Spiritual Intimacy: Connects on a deeper spiritual level
- Physical Intimacy: Includes physical contact and affection – the most exclusive part of your marital relationship
- Emotional Intimacy: Based on trust and respect.
- Intellectual Intimacy: Involves deep conversations and shared ideas.
Intimacy: “Into me see”. A relationship based on trust and respect where the most innermost thoughts and feelings are freely shared without reserve.
“And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.” John 17:3 ESV
“And this is eternal life: [it means] to know (to perceive, recognize, become acquainted with, and understand) You, the only true and real God, and [likewise] to know Him, Jesus [as the] Christ (the Anointed One, the Messiah), Whom You have sent.” John 17:3 AMPC
Quiet time is an essential practice in a Christian's spiritual journey. It offers an opportunity to deepen our relationship with God, learn from His Word, and grow more like Christ in our thoughts, actions, and character. Through quiet time, we engage in focused prayer, Bible study, and reflection, allowing space for God's presence to shape us.
God created us with a deep, intrinsic need for connection with Him. Just as any relationship thrives with time and attention, so does our relationship with God. Quiet time is the way we nurture that connection, allowing ourselves to listen to His voice, seek His guidance, and understand His will for our lives.
“If we knew how much God loved us and was for us, we’d talk to Him all day long” -- Donald Miller
As we engage in this practice consistently, our desire for it increases. Just as we long for fellowship with close friends or family, we will hunger for time with the Lord each day. This spiritual discipline helps us grow in Christlikeness, transforming our hearts and minds, aligning us more with His character, and empowering us to live out His will in the world around us. The more we seek Him, the more we grow, and the more we long for the intimacy of our time alone with Him.
"To fall in love with God is the greatest romance; to seek him the greatest adventure; to find him, the greatest human achievement." ~ Saint Augustine
If you have time to scroll and swipe, you have time for quiet time.
